Tumbling Stars – The five-pointed stars tumble gently to earth to land on the mountains below.
This beautiful, elegant quilt is all done in blues and silver with metallic thread quilting. There is a definite winter tone to the quilt with the frosty pine bough border.
If you look closely, you will see that each star is cut differently (“fussy cut” in quilt speak) to form a unique pattern.
The hand quilting outlines even more stars in the glazed blue background fabric.
This is a great quilt to bring out and enjoy during the holidays.
